Issue Position

As a father and a husband, I know the effects the ever increasing cost of healthcare is having on everyday families. I have met people on the campaign trail that have told me how much they have had to pay on healthcare costs due to insurance companies refusing to insure someone due to "pre-existing" medical conditions; this should not be. I believe affordable and quality healthcare is a right! People should not have to choose between groceries and hospital bills, both can be accommodated and that is why I want to represent this district.
